Eight Turks（土耳其人） were arrested for shooting at the moon during an eclipse（月食）. Police in the southeastern town of Kahramanmaras had briefly detained（短暂拘留） the moon shooters, who said they were following an ancient tradition（追寻一种古老习俗）, and confiscated their rifles（并没收了他们的枪支）. |
| A religious official（宗教官员） in the town said that shooting at the moon was a custom without religious foundation（射月亮是一种没有宗教依据的习俗）. He urged（力劝） the faithful（信徒） only to pray to God during lunar
aclipses. The eclipse was also visible（看到）
