1．从学生所居住的城市—上海引入本课的主题：国家与城市。并谈谈对上海的感觉，激发学生说话的兴趣。

2．由学生谈感觉自然而然地引出新单词：city, famous。

1．通过看一些世界各地优美风景的图片，激发起学生学习的兴趣。接着进入本课的主要新授内容：水城威尼斯。

2．学生先自己阅读短文，培养学生独立阅读的能力，然后通过一些提问来检验学生学习的结果，并在这一过程中解决三个新单词：Venice, Italy, canal。

III. Post-task

   activity:

1.      Introduce the other famous cities.

2.Game:

 Circle the capital of these countries.

Every group choose one passage.

2. Group work:

There are five or six pupils in one group. They will try to read and understand the passage.

1．本课的输出部分是让学生分小组进行学习，每组自学一个城市，通过这样一种方式来培养学习的自学能力和小组合作学习的能力。

2．学完后每组上来交流，通过交流，每位学生又了解了其他五个城市，利用了较少的时间获得了较多的知识量。

让学生将本课学习后产生的新问题以及其他一些他们想了解的城市写下来，留待下一次拓展课来讨论、研究。
