本节课,我主要围绕着Supermarket这个主题展开教学。使学生掌握各种食物以及如何购买食物的表达方法。在总结时,结合两纲教育,告诉学生,食物是得来不易的,同时也是对我们很有帮助的,我们要珍惜粮食。还指出本月有一个特殊的节日——重阳节,也称为老人节。在那一天可以登高、吃糕和赏菊。
在课的一开始,我以谈话方式从我们身边的各种超市引入,让学生接触到了活的语言,同时也潜移默化让学生学会去留意身边超市的英文名称,如Carefour,Lotus,Wal-mart等等,为学生创设贴近生活的语言环境。
由于超市里的商品不仅有包装的和瓶装的,也有听装的以及盒装的,因此有必要让孩子学会表达各种不同类型的食品。在教授a packet of, a bottle of以后,又补充了a bar of, a box of , a tin of等等。同时指导了语言上的连续现象并引出复数概念,如two packets of, three tins of 等,便于学生在本堂课最后的任务活动中表达实际需要。
在教授价格表达方法时,书上只出现了几元,我又补充了几角,并设计了猜物品价格的游戏,学生对此表现出极大兴趣。
最后,我结合两纲教育,设计了两个总结的环节。一是用尽量简单的语言,告诉学生,食物的重要性,我们不能浪费粮食。二是介绍我国的民俗传统节日——重阳节。
在课堂操练过程中我力求使操练形式多样化,既有师生之间的活动,也有同桌的pair work,还有四人小组的group work,促进学生集中注意力,激发学生学习兴趣,提高教学质量。
但在时间的把握上还存在问题,没有掌控好时间,以至于最后一个环节来不及完成,这也是我今后要改进的地方。
